Well, here it is July! The Show at Chase was a great success - It was filled with wonderful art and artists! It was especially true for me - My "Ya Comin?" actually sold! I am really pleased.
I also was honored to be asked to show 3 paintings in the DADS First Annual Arts and Crafts Show for the State Department of Aging and Disability. I truely was touched by this show and was humbled to have my pieces included with those who have found ways to create art that would astound anyone. Just wonderful. From that show, I did sell one of my pieces. The woman who purchased it, said she just really thought my piece would bring smiles to people! So Mr. Dancing Rooster, hope you are making people smile!
I now have 5 paintings in a show at the Old Bakery and Emporium for the month of July. The Palette Club of Austin has a group show, which I Chaired and Orchestrated. We had a teriffic reception on Friday the 5th. Hope anyone in town can stop and take a peek! This is one more thing I can now check off my bucket list! (In charge of gallery show… check!)
I have just completed 2 paintings for the Georgetown Library show for the month of August. They are even framed!
More soon!
